As anticipated, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit today (July 29, 2024) issued its mandate vacating the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Private Fund Adviser Rule making it official that compliance with the rule will not be required.   The SEC has until September 3, 2024 to determine whether it would like to seek a writ of certiorari.
