Global anti-financial crime watchdog amends its “grey” list of jurisdictions
Published: 02 November 2026
The Financial Action Taskforce (“FATF”) has removed Bulgaria, Côte d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Monaco from its “grey” list of jurisdictions under increased monitoring. All the jurisdictions have made progress in addressing previous deficiencies identified by FATF. The “black” list of North Korea, Myanmar and Iran remains unchanged.
At the last of this year’s three plenary meetings last week FATF also approved the mutual evaluations of Mexico and the USA.
