UK FCA 2026 Wholesale Buy-Side Regulatory Priorities
The way the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) communicates its supervisory expectations is evolving. In April 2025, the FCA announced it would discontinue its traditional sector-specific ‘portfolio letters’, replacing them with a smaller number of ‘market reports’ that highlight key priorities and insights from its supervisory work.
On 19 March, the FCA published its first Wholesale Buy-Side Regulatory Priorities Report. This report is directed at traditional and alternative asset managers, as well as custody and fund service providers. Given its sector-specific focus, firms are expected not only to review the report carefully but also to confirm to the FCA that they have done so.
In this webinar, FCA speakers will:
- Outline the key regulatory priorities for the year ahead;
- Highlight the most important actions firms should be taking now; and
- Share insights into emerging themes within the report and what they signal about the FCA’s near-term strategy.
Join us to ensure your firm is aligned with the FCA’s latest expectations and prepared for the regulatory landscape ahead.
