APAC Webinar: U.S. Outbound Investment Restrictions – What Comes Next for APAC Managers
AIMA invites you to join this APAC webinar on Tuesday 31 March 2026 examining the evolving U.S. outbound investment restrictions.
This session builds on AIMA’s earlier webinars on 5 December 2023 and 2 July 2024 which explored the emerging regulatory framework and its potential impact. Since those discussions, additional guidance from the U.S. Treasury and market practice developments have begun to shape how firms interpret and operationalise the regime. In addition, the Comprehensive Outbound Investment National Security (COINS) Act was enacted by the US Congress, which will eventually expand the US government’s outbound investment screening regime.
This follow-up webinar will provide an updated perspective on the outbound investment rules, including recent Treasury FAQs, evolving compliance considerations, the COIN Act, and practical implications for asset managers operating across Asia.
