Launch Event | AIMA SDR Regulatory Guide

UK Virtual event

In November 2023, the UK FCA published the Sustainability Disclosure Requirements and Investment Labels regime (SDR). The SDR introduced a number of new measures including a general anti-greenwashing rule, labels for sustainable products, naming and marketing rules, and a range of transparency requirements.

While the rules are designed to make sustainable investments clearer for investors – particularly those at the retail end of the market – the regime itself is far from straightforward for asset managers. The labelling, naming and marketing rules, for instance, are accompanied by a number of detailed disclosure requirements which vary according to the sustainability profile of the product. The sustainability profiles are themselves underpinned by complex requirements relating to investment strategy and sustainability assessments.

To support asset managers comply with these rules and others in the SDR, Kroll and AIMA have published a Regulatory Guide which provides an overview of the SDR and offers practical guidance. Please join us for a webinar led by Amelie Snape and Jane Stoakes, Directors at Kroll, who will introduce the AIMA SDR Regulatory Guide and provide an overview of the SDR regime.
