AIMA Australia Presents Our Flagship DDQ for Investment Managers: What’s New for the 2025 Edition

Australia In-person

Please join AIMA for an introduction to the 2025 edition of AIMA’s modular Illustrative Questionnaire for the Due Diligence of Investment Managers.  This flagship questionnaire turns 28 this year and is getting its first significant update in eight years.  It has been updated over the course of the last 18 months with the input of volunteers and the review of a steering group made up of members of different types from around the world.

In this session, we will be joined by Jennifer Wood, AIMA’s Global Head of Asset Management Regulation and Sound Practice on her first trip to Australia from Head office in London.  Jennifer is the chief architect of all AIMA’s DDQ’s and Sound Practice Guides.  She will present the updated modular DDQ suite and a discuss, among other things:

  • Diligence areas receiving more (or less) focus;
  • The new approach to strategy modules;
  • New features;
  • Changes made to the technical specifications of the DDQ;
  • Accessing the DDQs through a new Decision Tree tool;
  • Mapping questions from the old version to the new;
  • How to best move relevant text from the old version to the new version; and
  • How members can ask questions or submit feedback.

Members are invited to bring their questions to make this an interactive session.

Speakers:

  • Jennifer Wood, AIMA’s Global Head of Asset Management Regulation and sound practice.
  • Michael Gallagher, Managing Director, AIMA Australia.
