Andrew Weber

Head of EMEA, Orchard Global

Mr. Weber joined Orchard Global in September of 2012 as its Global Head of Structuring and Chief Executive of Orchard Global Asset Management LLP and is a principal of the firm. Mr. Weber is based in London, UK with the Investment Advisor. His primary responsibilities are transaction origination and structuring globally and oversight of the firm’s operations in the EMEA region. Prior to joining Orchard Global, Mr. Weber had his own consulting business between 2011 and 2012, advising the administrators of MF Global UK Limited (in special administration) and certain creditors of Lehman Brothers Finance S.A. From 2008 to 2011, Mr. Weber headed the European Capital Markets and Derivatives unwind team for Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers in London. From 2004 to 2007, Mr. Weber was a Managing Director at RBS, where he helped build the firm’s global fund derivatives business. Mr. Weber started his career at JPMorgan as one of the original members of the firm’s structured credit business. He holds a BA (Hons) from Colby College in Economics and Mathematics, an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, an MSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of London and an MPA from the London School of Economics. Mr. Weber is a CFA Charterholder and served as a Member of the Board of Visitors of Colby College from 2012 to 2020.
