Harein Uppal

Harein Uppal works on the Alternative Investments (Private Credit) team at OMERS. The Alternative Investments strategy is a multi-billion dollar program that partners with best-in-class managers that provide private credit solutions across direct lending, junior capital and select ABLs. The team has scaled rapidly since its formation, with double-digit 3 and 5-year returns. Prior to joining the Alternative Investments team, Harein spent his time across OMERS' key asset classes including Public Credit (Broadly Syndicated Loans, HY Bonds), Real Estate (Canadian Investments team) and Private Equity. Harein graduated from Western's Ivey Business School with Distinction.
