Managing Director - Alternative Credit, Thirdpath
Brent Pasternack, CFA brings 25 years of asset management experience to Thirdpath, including over 15 years of alternative investment manager research experience covering Private Credit and Hedge Fund asset classes. Prior to Thirdpath, Brent was the Head of Private Credit Manager Research at Nomura Capital Management, where he was responsible for sourcing and diligencing primary manager commitments, and sourcing co-investment and secondaries deal flow for a diversified private credit interval fund and a drawdown opportunistic private credit fund. Prior to Nomura Capital Management, Brent led the private credit manager research efforts at NYC Retirement Systems where he managed the private credit allocation on behalf of the five NYC pension fund systems. Brent also held manager research roles at Schonfeld Group, Mariner Investment Group, and Russell Investments. Brent received his full-time M.B.A. in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business, his B.B.A. in Finance from the Goizueta Business School (Emory University), and is a CFA charterholder.
