Cynthia Resch
Senior Investment Strategist, Partner

Cynthia (“Cindy”) G. Resch is a partner and senior investment strategist at CM Wealth, and a member of CM Wealth’s investment committee. She joined CM Wealth in 2012, was named chief investment officer in 2014, and remained in that position until 2023.  Additionally, she is a former member of the managing board.

Cindy works with foundation, endowment, and high-net-worth clients to create investment policy statements— establishing an optimal asset allocation, implementing the policy, constructing the portfolio, regularly meeting and reporting on portfolios, and providing fiduciary and investment education. Additionally, she is involved in selecting and monitoring managers for our traditional equity, fixed income, special situation, and private equity asset classes.

Prior to joining CM Wealth in 2012, Cindy served as a senior managing director at Victory Capital Management, previously the investment advisory arm of KeyCorp. Cindy's experience includes portfolio strategy and implementation for a few of Cleveland's largest foundations and endowments. She initiated an open-architecture platform for several of those clients and launched the firm's alternative investment program.

Cindy currently chairs the investment committee for the Garden Club of America and serves on the investment committee of Rainbow Babies and Children’s Foundation, Piano Cleveland, and St. Paul's Church. She serves on the board of Kirtland Country Club. In addition, she is a member of the CFA Society of Cleveland.

Cindy received her B.A. in psychology from the University of Vermont and her MBA in finance from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management.
