Tina Suo

Tina Suo is the Head of Alternative Credit and oversees the alternative credit portfolio for the five New York City Retirement Systems. She is responsible for portfolio construction, manager selection, and portfolio management of the $13 billion and growing alternative credit allocation for the pension funds. Ms. Suo has 19 years of investment experience in rates and credit through both direct and external management. Before joining the New York City pension funds, Ms. Suo served as Senior Director of Fixed Income Investments at New York Life Investment Management. Previously, Ms. Suo also held roles in trading, portfolio management, and risk management at sell-side and buy-side firms. Ms. Suo received her M.B.A. degree from London Business School and B.S. degree in Information and Decision Sciences from University of Science and Technology of China.
