Andra Ofosu

Founder, Black Hedge Fund Network

Andra Ofosu served as a Director in the US Sales team at Aspect Capital, where she had responsibility for Midwest and East Coast institutional and retail investors. She is presently on garden leave in transition to a new role. 

Prior to joining Aspect in 2020, she was part of the Client Relations and Business Development team at Aetos Alternatives Management, based in New York City. Prior to Aetos, Ms. Ofosu was a Vice President in the Hedge Fund Capital Services group of Credit Suisse Prime Brokerage in London. Earlier in her career, Ms. Ofosu was an analyst in the securitized products group at Lehman Brothers in London.

Ms. Ofosu is an advocate for underrepresented professionals in the Asset Management industry. She founded the Black Hedge Fund Network (BHFN) in 2019. The organization has since grown to over 500 members and centers its activities on providing networking and career development opportunities, particularly supporting underrepresented groups in the industry.

Ms. Ofosu is also involved in several other organizations. She is a former fellow of The Economic Club of New York and sits on the Board of Visitors for Colby College. She is also a member of CFA Society of New York and Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO).

Ms. Ofosu is a summa cum laude graduate of Colby College, where she was a Davis United World College Scholar and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She also earned a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is a CFA Charterholder and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Association (CAIA) designation.
