Brett Hillard

Brett serves as the CIO of GLASfunds and oversees the Research Team which is responsible for alternative manager sourcing, due diligence, and monitoring. The Research Team seeks best-in-class strategies across the spectrum of hedge fund strategies and private capital including buyout, growth, venture, credit, real estate, and others. Before GLASfunds, Brett served in multiple roles at Key Private Bank, the wealth management segment of KeyCorp. His latest role was Managing Director of Multi-Strategy Research which was responsible for sourcing, due diligence, and monitoring of all third-party managed strategies on the KPB platform. The MSR Team covered strategies across public equities, fixed income, real assets, hedge funds and private capital. Brett also managed an institutional pool of capital primarily comprised of not-for-profit entities. Brett began his career conducting business valuations of private companies. He has a BBA in Finance and Business Economics from Ohio University. Brett has earned the CFA and CAIA designations.
