Maria Flannery is a Partner at KPMG within the Asset Management practice. She has extensive experience in providing audit and advisory services to asset managers and investment vehicles across multiple jurisdictions. Maria has a specialized focus on the latest technologies affecting the asset management industry, such as Blockchain, Digital Assets, and AI. Maria is KPMG Ireland’s Head of Blockchain and Digital Assets for asset management and is a member of the Irish Fund's Digital Assets Project Group. She also serves on the Women in ETFs EMEA Leadership Team. She is actively engaged in the funds industry, often speaking at international events and conferences.
Maria has a BSc in Applied Computational Linguistics from Dublin City University and is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
