Ria Nova is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Americas Business Development and Investor Relations. Her responsibilities also include overseeing the firm’s consultant, intermediary and product specialist efforts. Based in New York, she joined the firm in 2017.
Prior to joining Värde, Ria served in various leadership roles at Neuberger Berman across alternative investments, most recently as Head of Broker Dealer National Accounts and, prior to that, Head of Business Development and COO of China investments based in Hong Kong. She also held roles as Strategic Marketing Associate at ING Barings Furman Selz’s Prime Brokerage Services Division and as Banking Officer, Eastern Regional Marketing Director at M&T Bank Corporation.
Ria received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Rochester and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
