Ally Chow initially joined Chenavari Investment Managers in February 2014 and managed all investment activities of Chenavari Hong Kong. In April 2016, she transitioned into Global Head of Marketing. Ally has over 20 years of experience in credit, first as a senior finance lawyer in Asia with Baker & McKenzie in mid to late 1990s, with experience in different types of credit instruments from private debt to syndicated loans to capital markets transactions such as convertible bonds, covered bonds and high yield bonds. From 2002-2010, she was Managing Director, Global Head of Structured Credit Product Management for Credit Agricole CIB (formally Calyon), in charge of structuring, underwriting and distribution of credit products. Prior to joining CIM Ally was Managing Director at Daiwa Capital Markets in Hong Kong where she was responsible for expanding their derivatives business in Asia Ex Japan. Ally holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Hong Kong, a Masters of Law from London School of Economics and a Masters in Finance London Business School. She is also a CFA charter holder.
