Managing Director, Sculptor Capital Management
Michael Cai is a Managing Director at Sculptor Capital, where he leads investments in the Consumer and Specialty Finance verticals within the Asset Based Finance team. Mr. Cai’s asset class responsibilities have resulted in him overseeing a diverse range of investments across student loan pools, auto and unsecured consumer receivables, aircraft leasing, and other cash-flowing assets. Prior to joining Sculptor in 2016, Mr. Cai began his career at Deutsche Bank, where he worked in the Structured Products Investment Banking group where he focused on principal lending and asset backed securitizations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University.
