Craig Lehner

Senior Investment Officer, New York State Common Retirement Fund

Mr. Lehner is a Senior Investment Officer on the Credit and Opportunistic/ARS team of the New York State Common Retirement Fund. He joined the fund in December 2014.

Prior to joining the Common Retirement Fund, Mr. Lehner served in a variety of positions, including, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Gotham Asset Management, Administrative Law Judge for the City of New York’s Office of Administrative Trials & Hearings, Senior Managing Director & General Counsel of Nikko Asset Management, and General Counsel of CitiFinancial Japan. Prior to joining Citigroup, he was an M&A lawyer at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, and an investment banker at Morgan Stanley.

Mr. Lehner was graduated magna cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania as well as the Law School of the University of Pennsylvania. He was Managing Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Economic Law and is admitted to the bar in New York State.
