Romain Marguet

Mr. Marguet joined Richardson Wealth in January 2016 and is responsible for the oversight of all alternative assets for the firm. As well as the origination, structuring and distribution of capital market products across all alternative asset classes. A role that sees him working in various capacities with issuers of hedge funds, private equity, private debt, private real estate and venture capital. He also sits on the Advisory Committee of a leading Canadian private debt fund and the Global Advisor Committee for iCapital. Mr. Marguet started his career in 2000 with large Canadian bank. He has held increasingly senior positions in Canada and internationally. Prior to joining Richardson Wealth, he worked for a long-standing hedge fund manager and a boutique clean energy infrastructure firm in Toronto and overseas. Prior to working abroad, Mr. Marguet held a senior position with a Fortune 500 US based broker/dealer. Mr. Marguet received an Hon. B.A. in Economics from the University of Toronto. He is currently active on various industry boards and committees, and fluent in both French and English.
