Martin Varenne

Martin Varenne is a Principal in our European Strategy and Solutions team for Insurance in Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI) based in London. He has close to 15 years of experience in the European Insurance industry through various roles. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Varenne was a Principal leading European Insurance ALM at Sixth Street. Prior to that, he was responsible for Insurance Client Strategy and Solutions in Continental Europe ex-Germany at Blackrock. Mr. Varenne previously worked at AXA UK, initially overseeing their market hedging program and later their private assets strategy. Mr. Varenne started his career at Societe Generale CIB on the rates and equity structured products desk for institutional investors. Mr. Varenne received a Master's Degree in Engineering from Telecom SudParis.
