AIMA APAC Webinar: COVID-19 Contingency Planning

Singapore China Japan Hong Kong Asia Pacific Australia

COVID-19 poses potential risks to companies and the health and wellbeing of their employees. A number of companies in Asia have initiated Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), as a result of clear containment measures introduced by the local governments, lessons learned during the 2003 SARS outbreak and the region’s close proximity to mainland China. Measures that have been implemented include remote working arrangements for employees.

In this webinar, AIMA’s invited panel of experts will provide an overview on the situation, and the policies and procedures for businesses to consider as they put in to practice their contingency plans, such as remote working and cyber security risks.

The panel will address operational resilience measures and talk through some key points within AIMA’s Guides to Sound Practices for Cyber Security, Operational Risk Management and Business Continuity Management. The panel will also examine the financial services regulatory implications, valuation policies, as well as employment implications from a broader APAC perspective with Hong Kong and Singapore in focus.
