AIMA Fund Manager Briefing: Cyber security in the digital age

Even before the global pandemic, businesses and their leaders faced a challenging and ever-changing environment as they looked to protect their institutions from a cyber-attack. They did so whilst looking to ensure that through enhancing cyber security, they do not lose the ability to innovate. The reality is that businesses are dependent on the internet, not just with computers but staff accessing data through personal devices etc.

As such, this dependency should be protected against identity theft, misuse of information, cyber-attacks and a plethora of other security breaches.

This session will discuss:

  • Defining the risks and trends of 2022 and beyond – New threats and exploring new and innovative ways to combat them
  • Navigating unknown unknowns; can we really be fully prepared?
  • Quantifying cyber risk – prioritising risks according to their potential for financial loss
  • Cyberwarfare – as a threat to organisations and countries – a case study
  • Program effectiveness and developing a suitable response
